SAS to reinstate Bristol-Stockholm summer service

SAS is to reintroduce a summer service from Bristol International Airport to Stockholm on June 27, 2008

The route, to operate twice a week, will compliment a new service running three times a week from Bristol to the Norwegian capital of Oslo which starts in April.

One way fares will start at £49 including taxes, with travellers able to choose between Economy Class travel and Economy Extra.

Flights will be operated by a Boeing 737-600, with 112 seats.

The airline's UK and Ireland general manager Lars-Ove Filipson said: "Demand for SAS' Bristol to Stockholm service during summer 2007 was very strong amongst business and leisure travellers alike.

"SAS enjoyed excellent cabin factors for a new route and sold on average more than 80% of the seats available on every flight."
