New London City Billund flights

Sun Air opens Billund London flights

British Airways franchise partner Sun-Air of Scandinavia has started flying between London City Airport (LCY) and Billund (BLL) in Denmark, Billund is close to the Legoland park and HQ for the Lego company.

The flights which started on 19 Jan are being operated by a Dornier 328 aircraft in BA livery.

SunAir will operate two flights a dayeach weekdays, with one on Sundays.

Sun-Air CEO Niels Sundberg said: “We have been particularly interested in London City Airport for several years and look forward to operating straight to the heart of London. An advantage is that you are able to check in on your flight up to 20 minutes before departure if you travel with hand luggage – that’s unique.”
